Explore our premium selection of CE-certified chopping boards, engineered for ultimate safety, structural longevity, and aesthetic excellence in commercial and domestic environments.
The global commercial food industry is undergoing a structural paradigm shift regarding hygiene regulations, sustainable material sourcing, and supply chain accountability. Modern regulatory agencies are enforcing strict controls on food contact materials to eliminate cross-contamination, chemical leaching, and micro-particle contamination. Within this environment, a simple chopping board is no longer classified as a basic utensil, but rather as a critical food contact interface subject to rigorous CE, LFGB, and FDA standards.
As a premier OEM partner, JOYWAVE provides comprehensive solutions designed to address these regulatory challenges. By combining high-precision manufacturing, ecological responsibility, and robust compliance documentation, we support global distribution networks and large-scale retailers in maintaining compliant inventory. Our product ranges utilize ethically sourced end-grain acacia, cross-laminated organic bamboo, food-safe high-density polypropylenes, and medical-grade stainless steel to deliver tailored solutions for every culinary application.
Founded in 2013 and based in Ningbo, JOYWAVE is a specialist OEM manufacturer and industry expert in kitchenware. With over a decade of focused experience, we integrate comprehensive in-house design, development, and manufacturing at our dedicated facilities to deliver tailored solutions for leading global brands.
Our operational model is built around technical precision and strict quality management systems. Ningbo, being a global deepwater shipping hub, allows us to coordinate logistics, source certified timber and premium polymers, and export finished products to major markets worldwide. We bridge the gap between artisanal woodwork and high-volume, automated industrial production, ensuring that every board exhibits uniform dimensional stability, moisture resilience, and smooth finishing.
As your dedicated OEM partner, we provide full-scope manufacturing services for a diverse and expanding product range. Our foundational expertise is in cutting boards, cutting mats, and serving trays, which we produce in materials including Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Bamboo, Wood, Stainless Steel, and other eco-friendly alternatives. Building on this core strength, our capabilities have grown into a complete "Cutting Board & More" portfolio. We now also manufacture Kitchen Storage solutions, Baking Tools, Cutlery, and various Kitchen Gadgets, offering clients a streamlined, one-stop source for coordinated kitchenware lines.
Processing diverse materials requires specialized machinery. We utilize dedicated injection molders for food-grade polymers, high-temp hydraulic presses for cross-laminated bamboo, and precise milling centers for dense woods like acacia and maple.
Our in-house tool shop designs, fabricates, and maintains custom molds. This control allows us to offer unique surface textures, specialized juice grooves, non-slip corner overmolds, and ergonomic integrated handles.
We supply major international retailers, including Walmart, Costco, Macy's, HomeGoods, and Williams Sonoma. Our facilities are structured to handle high-volume demands while meeting retail compliance, EDI systems, and custom packaging protocols.
For commercial and retail buyers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and global markets, regulatory compliance is non-negotiable. Our handmade chopping boards and polymer panels are engineered to conform to all essential food-contact directives. The CE mark signifies that our products comply with safety, health, and environmental protection standards.
The foundational framework for all materials intended to come into contact with food. This ensures our wood adhesives, polymer raw materials, and silicone feet do not transfer substances to food in quantities that could endanger human health.
In addition to basic CE compliance, our products pass German LFGB food contact tests and meet US FDA CFR 21 criteria. This dual assurance supports global distribution, allowing products to flow smoothly through custom clearances in North America and Europe.
With the implementation of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), timber sourcing is highly regulated. Our acacia and bamboo are tracked back to managed forests, ensuring that every batch is free from illegal logging and deforestation risks.
We provide a systematic workflow for brands, private labels, and major retailers, ensuring that custom product requirements are met with precision and quality control.
Based on your initial concept, physical samples, or 2D/3D CAD drawings, our engineering team creates detailed technical drawings for review, ensuring dimensional accuracy and material efficiency.
Once the drawings are approved, we proceed with mold fabrication in our dedicated CNC shop. We then produce physical samples for functional testing and client approval before mass manufacturing.
After you approve the samples, we move forward with full-scale production. We employ in-line quality controls to monitor tolerances, moisture content (for timber), and surface finish consistency.
We handle final production packaging, shrink-wrapping, carton packing, and coordinate sea, air, or rail freight, delivering your order to your designated warehouse with complete documentation.
Our manufacturing processes are engineered to maintain high safety, structural integrity, and consistency standards across every batch. Here is how we build reliability into our products:
Pour the color powder and raw materials into the mixer and mix until they are thoroughly blended.
Load the blended materials into the feeding hopper of the injection molding machine. Install the product mold onto the machine and begin the injection molding process.
A robotic arm removes the molded product from the injection molding machine and transfers it to the cooling unit.
The product is cooled in the cooling unit and flattened to ensure proper shape and surface flatness.
Transfer the product to the over-molding machine. Apply a secondary material to the edges and corners to create non-slip surfaces.
Wipe the product surface with a cloth to remove any dust or residues.
Apply the product label and feed the product into the shrink-wrapping machine.
Place the shrink-wrapped products into cartons for storage.
JOYWAVE supports brands across multiple international regions, ensuring compliance with local customs, shipping logistics, and product labeling standards. We work closely with partners in North America, Europe, and Asia to deliver reliable OEM services.
Providing wholesale fulfillment, customs documentation, and EDI supply chain integration for major retail brands in the USA and Canada.
Full alignment with CE standards, LFGB, and EUDR timber tracking to ensure compliance with European environmental directives.
Providing localized support for high-volume custom orders, catering to regional distributors who require consistent quality and direct-to-market shipping.
Supporting retail clients with biosecurity-compliant timber packaging, ensuring smooth custom clearance through local ports.
Looking ahead, JOYWAVE is committed to advancing eco-friendly materials and smart kitchenware technologies. Our engineering division is actively testing bio-based resins, recycled ocean plastics, and agricultural waste composites (such as wheat straw and rice husk) to reduce carbon footprints without compromising structural durability or safety.
Additionally, we are investigating antimicrobial surface modifications that permanently inhibit bacterial growth without using chemical agents that could leach into food. By optimizing our high-pressure compression techniques, we aim to produce thinner, lighter cutting blocks that retain the warp-resistant properties of traditional butcher blocks. These advancements will help our brand partners stay ahead of evolving consumer demands and regulatory standards.
